Troubleshooting the CRM Chrome Extension

Many of these issues are browser-related and can be resolved with a few targeted actions. What to Do If Your Chrome Extension Doesn’t Load

When the Chrome Extension fails to load or is not fully functional, it’s often due to conflicts with other installed extensions or outdated settings. Here’s how to address it:

Turn Off Browser Extensions

Conflicting browser extensions are a common culprit for ActiveCampaign extension issues. To identify if another extension is interfering:

  1. Disable extensions one by one to pinpoint the problematic extension.
  2. For Chrome:

Remove and Reinstall the Chrome Extension

How to Exclude Gmail Addresses from Syncing in the Chrome Extension

By default, the CRM Chrome Extension automatically syncs with any Gmail address you use, which may cause unwanted data overlap if you use multiple Gmail accounts. To avoid syncing specific Gmail accounts with the CRM, follow these steps:

  1. Open the CRM Chrome Extension popover from the browser address bar.
  2. Click on the Settings gear icon.
  3. Navigate to the Manage Emails section.
  4. In the input field, enter the Gmail addresses you do NOT want to sync with ActiveCampaign.

This will ensure that only the desired Gmail accounts are actively synced, while others remain unaffected by the extension’s functionality.

What to Do If Your Data Isn’t Syncing Across Devices

If your data is not syncing as expected across devices, ensure that your Chrome settings allow synchronization. Here’s what to check:

  • Chrome Profile Sync: Verify that you’re logged into the same Chrome profile on each device.
