How to See All Tasks Assigned to You in the CRM

This article explains how to view and manage all tasks assigned to you in the CRM, including filtering by assignee, distinguishing between completed and incomplete tasks, and ensuring efficient task tracking.

Managing tasks efficiently is crucial for productivity, whether handling customer relationships, sales processes, or project tracking. In the CRM, you can easily view all tasks assigned to you using the Manage Tasks page. This ensures you stay on top of your responsibilities and never miss an important follow-up.

Accessing the Manage Tasks Page

To see all tasks assigned to you, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Tasks Section:

    • Click Deals (or the equivalent section in your CRM).

  2. Filter Tasks by Assignee:

    • Click the "Task Assigned To" dropdown menu.

Once selected, the Manage Tasks page will display all tasks related to you, including both Contact Tasks and Deal Tasks.

  • Contact Tasks will have a person icon, indicating they are associated with a specific contact. Image 2-24-25 at 1.11 PM
  • Deal Tasks will show a dollar sign, representing tasks linked to deals or sales opportunities. Image 2-24-25 at 1.13 PM

Understanding Task Status

Tasks are categorized based on completion status, helping you quickly identify what needs attention.

Completed Tasks

  • Completed tasks will have a strikethrough in the "Title & Description" column.
  • Their status will be marked as Complete.
  • The "Related To," "Due Date," "Status," and "Type" columns will appear in grey text. Image 2-24-25 at 1.16 PM

Incomplete Tasks

  • Incomplete tasks will NOT have a strikethrough in the "Title & Description".
  • The status will be Incomplete.
  • Due dates are color-coded for urgency:
    • Red for overdue tasks. Image 2-24-25 at 1.22 PM
    • Black for upcoming tasks. Image 2-24-25 at 1.21 PM
  • The action button next to the task will say "Complete", allowing you to mark the task as done when finished.

By regularly checking your Manage Tasks page in the CRM, you can streamline your workflow, ensure timely follow-ups, and boost productivity.
