How to Change the "From" Name and Email Address in the CRM

This guide explains how to update the "From" name and email address in the CRM campaigns. Learn how to make these changes from both the Campaigns page and the Campaign Designer, ensuring your emails are sent with the correct sender details.

Personalizing the "From" name and email address in your campaign emails ensures brand consistency and improves email deliverability. In the CRM, you can update this information for any campaign that is in "Draft" or "Scheduled" status. However, once a campaign has been sent, these details cannot be modified.

Important Considerations

  • No Default "From" Name or Email:
    The CRM does not allow users to set a default "From" name or email address across the entire account or specific lists.
  • Auto-Fill Feature:
    When creating a new campaign, the system automatically pulls the "From" name and email address from your most recently sent campaign.

To update these details, you can make changes from either the Campaigns page or the Campaign Designer.

Update the "From" Name and Email Address from the Campaigns Page

If you need to update the sender information before sending your campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Campaigns Page:

    • Click Campaigns from the left-hand menu.

  2. Edit Campaign Settings:

    • On the Campaign Settings page, locate the "From" name and "From" email address fields.

  3. Save or Send the Campaign:

    • If you're ready to send the campaign immediately, click "Send Now" at the top right.
    • If you want to continue working on the campaign later, click "Save and Exit."

You can also modify the sender details while working on the campaign design.

  1. Access the Campaign Designer:

    • Click Campaigns from the left-hand menu.
    • Open the campaign you wish to edit.

  2. Modify the Sender Information:

    • Inside the Campaign Designer, click the gear icon at the top right.
    • A Campaign Settings modal will appear.

  3. Save the Changes:

    • Click "Save" to confirm the new sender details.

Updating the "From" name and email address in the CRM is simple, whether you're making changes before sending the campaign or during the design process. By keeping your sender details accurate, you enhance brand credibility and maintain consistency across all email communications.
