This article discusses how to register for SMS sending with WolfPack CRM
Important Notes
Sending SMS messages through mass automations requires registering your business. WolfPack does not manage registrations, as they are managed by a third party - The Campaign Registry. WolfPack can assist with or fully complete the application on your behalf, but does not control final carrier approval decisions.
Businesses must have a valid EIN (Employer Tax Identification) Number or Tax ID number to register in the United States.

All contacts must provide explicit consent to receive SMS messages.
Privacy Policy
Include this language on your website Privacy Policy page:
"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive marketing or promotional SMS messages from [Company Name]. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies."
Your Privacy Policy and Terms of Use must also specify how contact information is collected, used, and shared. If your website is hosted through WolfPack, our team can update these pages for you.
Contact Form Checkbox
Include a required opt-in checkbox with this language:
"I agree to receive marketing or promotional SMS messages from [Company Name]. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies."
Contacts must actively check this box. Pre-checked boxes are not allowed. If WolfPack hosts your website, we can update your forms and add the correct checkbox language for you.

Registration Steps

Gather Information: Collect all required business details, account owner information, opt-in proof, and sample messages before starting the registration.

Access SMS Registration: Log in to ActiveCampaign and navigate to Settings > SMS > Registration, then click Start Registration.

Enter Use Case and Purpose: Provide a clear description of how SMS will be used and ensure messages include your business name and opt-out instructions.

Upload Sample Messages and Proof: Provide at least two sample messages and screenshots or links showing how consent is obtained. Confirm your Privacy Policy and opt-in checkbox language meet requirements.

Review and Submit: Review all details, spelling, and links before submission. If preferred, WolfPack can complete and submit this application for you.

Monitor Status and Follow Up: Monitor your approval status in the ActiveCampaign SMS dashboard. If rejected or delayed, WolfPack will help identify the cause and guide you through troubleshooting or escalation.

Confirm Approval: Once approved, SMS features will activate automatically. Keep consent methods and sample messages updated to remain compliant.
